Sighted Guide Volunteer for Urban Cow Marathon

Dr. Paymaun volunteered with Unite for Stride to be a sighted guide for an individual that was visually impaired during the Urban Cow Marathon in Sacramento. This individual unfortunately has limited vision from an early birth complication.
Unite for Stride is an non profit organization empowering and connecting visually impaired athletes with sighted guides on all levels
Volunteer Eye Exams for foster kids
July 13th, 2024
Volunteer optometrists from the Sacramento Valley Optometric Society (including Dr. Paymaun) helped
team up with Ticket to Dream Foundation to provide free eye exams and glasses to foster kids in need.
Arden Park Recreation & Park District
Donation
May 17th, 2024
Dr. Paymaun and Arden Park Optometry donated $3000 to the local Arden Park Recreation to support their efforts to provide safe and a beautiful park int he Arden area and to enrich the quality of life for people living in the District and to provide economic value.
Elk Grove Health Fair
Febuary 24th, 2024
Dr. Paymaun volunteered to provide free-of-charge vision screenings at the Asian Resource Center in Elk Grove.

Dr. Paymaun volunteered with Unite for Stride to be a sighted guide for an individual that was visually impaired during the Urban Cow Marathon in Sacramento. This individual unfortunately has no vision in both eyes and is nearly deaf.

Arden Park Fall Festival

Arden Park Optometry participated and donated to the annual Fall Festival at Arden Park. At the event, we had a booth where we provided vision screenings and shared exciting tools and instruments we use in eye care, including testing color vision!
The Arden Park Recreation and Park District hosts an annual Fall Festival and it is an autumn-filled adventure for families and kids. There was petting zoo, bounce houses, and carnival games. In addition, there were craft vendors, a beer/wine garden, food trucks, live music, and even a pumpkin patch!
We had a wonderful time and we had an amazing turnout at our booth!
